Welcome to the Aft Deck. Here is where we enter the boat and where the cockpit is. So, that is where it most of the time happens.
We are right above the engine, the water & diesel tanks, the batteries.
Below here, you see an impression of how our aft deck (or transom) looks like.
Fig.1 - Aft Deck Shape (example, not the TOM).
You see that there are benches, and there is a cockpit. (We don't have the fishing-equipment).

Navigation Lights switches
What switches what?
In this area, we will spend most of the time when boating. And that implies that there will be lights (preferably red)
and equipment located here. All these need power to operate.Hence why there will be a separate switch (3) +
relay for this area. The amount of amps used in this area might be a bit higher, than the previous switches.
For example, the 12 volt power feed wil be used by:
Compass light
Card reading light
Chart Plotter
VHF Radio
Engine compartment light(s)
It is always nice to have some additional lights when you are working in the engine compartiment. Things always need attention when it is dark(er) than expected an fidgiting (tittyvatin) with flashlights isnt't
the most comfortable. Like for example, checking the oil level and such.
