When life has other plans

2026 was not the year we had in mind for being on the water. What started as a season of small plans and quiet hopes was gradually taken over by family circumstances that none of us could have anticipated. The passing of a family member cast a long shadow over everything else, and in the weeks and months that followed, the legal and administrative complications that came with it consumed far more time and energy than any of us expected. On top of that, a series of unforeseen events kept cropping up, each one demanding attention and pulling us further away from the water. And this hasn't been resolved yet.

There was no time to think about Tom, let alone get out on the water with her. We managed a few short trips to the marina and some minor repairs, but that was about it. Tom sat there, patient as ever, waiting for a season that felt like it might never come.

We did, however, extend this website substantially in the evening hours, so please take your time to look it over.

Our personal opinion is that every person out on the water should, by law be told to make a donation of €25,- per year. But that is just our opinion.
